10 Movies to Look Forward to in 2016

Every movie lover will be proud to say that they’ve already clocked in a serious number of hours in theater houses over the years. It doesn’t matter if it’s an old one or a part of a modern chain like the Vue Cinemas. What matters is that if you like going to the movies, you probably have seen a good deal of them already.

In the next half of 2016, more great films are slated to be released. Here are ten of the ones you should look forward to:

Bridget Jones’ Baby (September 2016)

Newly singled Bridget Jones is unfazed by her new status, as what could possibly go wrong now that she’s successful and in her forties? Things started to look up when she met the American named Jack and found out that she’s pregnant.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (November 2016)

A part of the epic Harry Potter universe, Fantastic Beasts’ story started 70 years before Harry’s birth. It is focused on Newt Scamander’s adventures after he was commissioned to write a reference guide to magical creatures.

Ice Age: Collision Course (July 2016)

The Ice Age gang is back in action as they try to survive an accidental cosmic chain reaction that threatens their homeland.

A highly anticipated animation that stars Charlize Theron and Rooney Mara is about the kind Kubo who lives a quiet life with his mother in a sleepy seaside village. Things are about to change, though, as a spirit from the past decided to enforce an age-old vendetta.

Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children (September 2016)

Based on the fantasy book by Ransom Riggs, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is about Jacob Portman’s discovery about his grandfather’s past.

Mohenjo Daro (August 2016)

An epic Bollywood adventure drama that stars Hrithik Roshan that is set during the Indus Valley civilization.

The Magnificent Seven (September 2016)

Directed by John Sturges, The Magnificent Seven is an American western film about a town that turned to seven mercenaries to help them fight a ruthless industrialist. It stars big names like Denzel Washington, Ethan Hawke, and Chris Pratt.

Suicide Squad (August 2016)

A highly anticipated film that revolves around a group of dangerous, incarcerated supervillains that were assembled into a single team for a covert mission. The story is based on the DC Comics antihero team of the same name.

Jason Bourne (July 2016)

After 12 years of being in the shadows, Jason Bourne is now back, as well as his memories.
