A Little Background

Founded in 1993 by brothers Adam and Samuel Kaye, ASK Italian was initially called ASK. Some posit that the name is an acronym of the brothers’ names, while some say that it stands for “Authentic Sicilian Kitchen”. In any case, they renamed the chain during their rebranding in 2010 to ASK Italian.

The restaurant chain was initially owned by the brothers before it become public and then became of private ownership in 2004. It was then merged with Pizza Express to create the Gondola Holdings, which was later acquired by Bridgeport Capital. Today, it is under the ownership of Azzurri Restaurants Ltd. and is continuously growing in size.

What Sets Them Apart

While there are already lots of Italian restaurants in the UK, ASK Italian stands out for its dedication to helping out the Great Osmond Street Hospital. They have orchestrated a number of charitable events and activities to help the Children’s Charity of the hospital through efforts like selling a celebrity cookbook, holding the ASK Italian Grand Tour, as well as holding various in-store campaigns that helped raise a good lot of money for the charity.

Another thing that sets ASK Italian apart from the competition is that they will always give you good food and great service. Sure, some can complain about how busy their locations can be, but the staff will always work hard to provide quality service to their patrons. You can hardly say as much for other restaurant chains like Bella Italia and Strada, so this makes ASK Italian a top notch choice for dining out with family and friends.

Why You Should Dine Here
