Costa Coffee Prices

The Costa Experience

Costa started in London in 1971, when the Costa brothers began to sell their coffee to local caterers. Their business expanded to delicatessens, and eventually the pair opened their own coffee shop.

The chain has only grown sense then, spreading rapidly through the UK. They’ve been voted as the UK’s favorite coffee shop for three years in a row in the Allegra Strategies survey.

Despite forty years of success, Costa prides themselves on slow-roasting their coffee beans the same way the Costa brothers did all those years ago.

Dedicated to bringing their customers the highest quality of coffee, Costa sources, blends, roasts, grinds, and handcrafts all of their coffees. They hold their crops to high standards, as well, ensuring that all of their beans are 100% Rainforest Alliance certified.

They offer a variety of drinks, some hot and others cold, to ensure that everyone has a choice. Costa even offers a selection of teas for the non-coffee drinker.

Costa Coffee is dedicated both to their customers and to their community. In 2006, the company founded the Costa Foundation to provide access to education on healthy, literacy, and income management to their communities.

The foundation has built 40 schools in poor areas, and they don’t plan on stopping the good work anytime soon.

Even Costa’s coffee shop locations are committed to bettering the earth; Costa gets 40% of their energy from renewable resources, and they are planning on installing LED lights in all of their shops.

Costa even programs their coffee machines to go in sleep mode when they aren’t being used.

Costa Coffee offers a rewards programs for their customers. When members sign up for the program, every pound they spend on Costa products equals five points; each point is, in turn, worth one penny.

Members can then use those points to purchase drinks or food in Costa. They even offer an app to help customers keep track of their points.

Costa Coffee Club have an extremely bad Loyalty payback as if you only ever buy coffee the most points you get per single coffee is 10 points so regardless of weather you buy a £2.25 or a £2.75 Coffee you have to buy TWENTY THREE to get a small or TWENTY EIGHT to get a large, Starbucks and McDonalds will give you a free coffee after purchasing JUST SIX coffees in fact its only FIVE at McDonald’s if you count the token you get with the free coffee and MDs is FAR CHEAPER TOO.
PITY I don’t like MD or SB coffee as I would be buying my coffee from them instead of Costa.
