Fitness Evolution

DW Fitness is the gym-side of British sports retail and fitness company DW Sports Fitness. DW was founded in March 2009 by namesake Dave Whelan when he purchased 50 clubs and attached retail stores to them. In the beginning, every club had a store attached; now, the group has grown to encompass stand-alone clubs and stores in over 60 locations.

Each DW Fitness club offers a fully-equipped gym alongside a pool, steam room, and spa area. They offer level-3 fitness professionals, freelance personal trainers who specialize in areas such as nutrition, weight loss, and injury rehabilitation. DW Fitness Clubs also boast several group classes, featuring the increasingly-popular Insanity course but also including Spinning, Circuit Training, Yoga, Step, Pilates, Aqua Aerobics, the Les Mills Body Combat and Body Pump programs, and more.

If you wish to train at your own pace, the DW Gym Floor is designed to help you get the most out of your workout. From free weights to Technogym equipment, DW Fitness works hard to keep their facility state-of-the-art. All of their facilities are spacious, with both cardiovascular and resistance equipment alongside the free weights, and air-conditioned. Even if you prefer to work out alone, DW Fitness staff are always available to help you out with equipment or offer some guidance.
