Among the guests at Rush Hair’s September 2015 Liverpool launch party last were celebrities from Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks. Twinnie-Lee Moore, Anna Passey and Jessica Fox showed up at the popular hair salon chain’s event.
The popular stars are obviously used to getting preened at salons and were the perfect celebrities to have at the chain’s new location, which happens to be the first Rush Hair branch outside London. The cast of Hollyoaks were some of the very first people invited for a sneak preview to witness the opening of the salon.
The new branch is located in the Liverpool city centre. Seen with the Hollyoaks actresses were also their co-star Nick Rhys and former Liverpool goalkeeper Tony Warner. The trendy event was furthermore visited by former Liverpool players Jason McAteer and John Barnes. The guest list also included Layla Flaherty from Desperate Scousewives and Mark Byron, who was once a housemate on Big Brother.
The owner of Liverpool salon expressed her excitement about the new branch, saying: “This is a very exciting time. I can’t wait to show the city what the salon can do. We have meticulously curated a team of talented stylists, and we will bring home a touch of London sparkle to Liverpool.”
Back in the first of August, on a Saturday, the salon chain opened a new flagship salon in Rush Westfield Stratford. The launching event exceeded expectations and turned out to be the busiest opening party for the franchise.
The Rush Westfield Stratford branch is conveniently placed on the external perimeter of the Westfield Stratford City shopping centre, along with the biggest names of London’s fashion, entertainment and food scenes. The shop boasts a serene view while its interior is decorated with extravagant mirrored walls, dark and glossy flooring and comes with the brand’s signature chandelier design.
Present at the Rush Westfield Stratford branch were founder Andy Phouli and company director George Phouli. Their presence highlighted the salon’s ambitious expansion plans for 2015 and they joined together to cut the ribbon, welcoming the 68th salon branch.
Shoppers and guests were treated to luxury goodie bags while salon employees had their hands full all day attending clients. Customers enjoyed delicious cupcakes, glasses of champagne and amazing hairstyles.
Back in July of this year Rush Hair also launched a very successful Kilburn salon opening. The event took place on July 25th and customers were groomed by the talented stylist, Nita Brainch. Brainch is the head of a team of stylists who hold 8 years experience working for the chain. She brings in a full roster of long-term clients.
The Kilburn branch is located very closely to Kilburn High Road Overground station. It’s beautifully decorated with a tall glass building front and the signature fancy chandelier many customers are familiar.
Employees were happy to see the presence of Kilburn Deputy Mayor Cllr Lesley Jones who expressed her support for the new branch by presiding over the ribbon cutting ceremony.
